Nermin Mehmedagić Set for Allstars Fight Night Debut at AFN 11

Nermin Mehmedagić also known as NeroMMA will make his Allstars Fight Night debut on 27 September, stepping into the AFN 11 cage in Stockholm for a featherweight contest against Finland’s Aleksander Virtanen. The bout marks the return of one of Sweden’s most recognisable martial artists to a domestic stage.

A lifelong practitioner, Mehmedagić began training at eight and has represented Sweden in both Kyokushin karate and amateur MMA. His professional debut came at Zone Pro League 2, where he recovered from an early knockdown to secure a first-round rear naked choke. The finish underlined a habit built over years on the amateur circuit: staying composed in high-pressure moments and finding a path to control.

While his 250,000-plus Instagram following has given him reach far beyond Nordic MMA, Mehmedagić has been clear that he wants to be judged on performance rather than profile. His style blends a Kyokushin striking base with solid grappling transitions, allowing him to switch gears when the bout demands it. Against Virtanen, he faces a test in both preparation and adaptability, with the added factor of competing in front of a home crowd.

For Mehmedagić, AFN 11 offers more than a return to competition. It is an opportunity to reaffirm his standing in Swedish MMA, showcase a complete skill set, and move another step forward in his professional campaign.
